The Fault in Our Stars is a young adult novel by John Green. It was first published in January 2012 and has sold over 26 million copies to date. The novel, which is written from the perspective of Hazel Grace Lancaster (Hazel), follows her as she progresses through cancer support groups and eventually meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters (Augustus). Together, they touch on such themes as living life fully, loving others unconditionally, accepting death and taking risks.
